About this church
Refuge Bible Church is an intergenerational Christian congregation in Salinas led by Lead Pastor Matt Gersonde. Formed in July 2020 when Refuge Church and Petra Bible Church joined together, the church gathers to worship, learn Scripture and care for one another. Refuge Kids provides Bible lessons, worship and activities for children from crawlers through fifth grade, with a matching curriculum families can use at home. Youth leaders serve students, and newcomers can meet the team at a Welcome Lunch or learn about the church through Intro to Refuge. Volunteers serve in ministries throughout the congregation.
