First Presbyterian Church of Tuscumbia is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation organized in 1824. Its historic sanctuary was built in 1827. Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30 AM, followed by Sunday school at 10:45 AM; evening worship begins at 6:00 PM. Services follow a historic liturgy with Scripture readings, prayer, confession, psalms and hymns, and Bible exposition. The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday morning of each month. Families are encouraged to worship together, and nursery care is available for children five and younger. Children's Sunday school serves ages three through sixth grade, and youth ministry serves grades seven through twelve. Wednesday adult Bible study, youth and children's gatherings begin at 6:00 PM.
