Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church in Clay is a Reformed congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America. Its roots reach back to a gathering of settlers around 1806, and it joined the PCA in 1981. The stone sanctuary was rebuilt in 1925 with rocks gathered by members from their fields. The church emphasizes reverent worship, Bible teaching, evangelism, and discipleship, and is led by Teaching Elder Phil Rich and a council of elders.
